What to expect for your surgery

Your surgery will be performed at either Kawana Private Hospital, Birtinya or at Eye Tech Day Surgeries in Spring Hill, Brisbane.

Your surgery will normally take between 15 and 60 minutes you will be at the hospital for approximately 4 hours. You will require a responsible adult to accompany you home and stay with you for 24 hours following surgery. Dr Apel will review you on the day following surgery.
